Re: Shadgard Thaelsh Stuff

Poking this thread again as this was never resolved (to my knowledge). If there are any bored GMs out there who want to tackle this project that would be neat. I realize there's other stuff going on right now as well, so thanks for keeping things interesting!

Kudos for RP Quality

My character has had several significant RP interactions in the last few days - both with PCs and NPCs - and I have to say, they were all spectacular. My character may not have appreciated every bit of those interactions, but as a player, I was thrilled at the thought and effort put in by all involv...

Re: Thaumaturgy Gains

Thanks for looking into this so quickly! I guess I should have asked ages ago ;) I'll play around with it, but I'm not generally very good at judging these kinds of things so I wouldn't be able to really say if it needed more adjustment or not. I just felt it was initially low. I definitely apprecia...

Thaumaturgy Gains

Would it be possible to review the thaumaturgy gains for templar on high energy-cost abilities? These are the only way we can improve thaumaturgy skill past a certain point and there are no low energy-cost or auto-cast alternatives we can use.

Ability and Skill Describe

Abilities: Would it be possible when checking the description of a specific ability to see not only what prerequisites or skill levels are required to unlock it, but also what it has the potential to unlock? It might also be useful to be able to see which skills are used for each ability even thoug...

I've found this applies to a lot of weapon containers because they need to be big enough to hold the weapons they carry. It's weird, for sure.

Re: Shield Bashing

I believe the answer I've gotten over the years has been that the knockdown from shoving with a shield isn't meant to be overly long. If you're fighting with a group it gives a decent advantage to the other members who aren't in roundtime. But that won't apply if you're fighting solo. As far as I kn...

Re: Possibly Dumb Combat Question

Good suggestions, Noctere! Tactics: Guerilla is the ability. Ranged is one anyone can do. But regardless, it is SUPER handy for archery and I would highly recommend it if that's the route you want to pursue. http://clok.contrarium.net/index.php?title=Tactics:_Guerilla. You might also want to try pla...

Re: forces on the roads

I did try to re-spark interest in player-driven solutions to those road blocks not that long ago when the population was still fairly high and the people I spoke with were all hesitant to try anything. I think the main reason behind this is that they're worried about losing faction status with the D...

Re: Tasks based on skill level, NPC/world lore, and World Ev

I'll just throw in a few things as well since I don't want you to feel discouraged. I think some of the suggestions being offered have already been discussed on the boards either in identical or similar fashions. What might help is doing a quick search for keywords or phrases to see if there's alrea...

Due to the timing of it I likely won't be able to attend on any character, but I do hope people come out and celebrate this. Holiday player-run events are always a great time. Thanks for hosting this year.

Re: A little bit of something

I noticed that the Concord is sometimes set at a different temperature than the surrounding area. The environs, town and farm may be chilly or temperate but the Concord will still be cold. Not sure if it's intended so I bugged it. It could be that since the ship is on the water and it's usually cold...

General Wiki Updates - Lore and Information on the Wiki

I've been noticing a lot of blank links on the wiki of late as I peruse it in my boredom. Some of these haven't been touched since I started playing ages ago. I was wondering if anyone would be willing to try and fill these out. It might take some digging with the Lore Hermit or a GM volunteer. The ...

Hanged Man and More

There was a ton of RP going on last night and I want to thank all the people who stopped by the Hanged Man, or went on one of the several rescue missions the evening called for, or dealt with the infested corpse situation. It was a very eventful evening overall. And that's just what I was aware of. ...

Containers for Huge Items

Many weapon-containers such as sheaths, scabbards, pole harnesses etc. are considered "huge" items so they can accommodate weapons of various sizes. This is great except they won't fit in any standard furniture as-is. Chests, trunks, and barrels you can get from furniture and general stores only acc...

I guess I should have specified having a way to clean them without them dodging or acting like they're being attacked would be good. Either way, I think splashing with a bucket would be fun. Not that anyone carries them around all the time.
