Re: Repairing

Ok, so if there's a chance to degrade that should be clarified in-game somewhere I would think. So people know what to expect. The wording in my previous quote seems to imply there is no degradation which is why I've been asking for a more detailed answer. Also, sorry about the pricing on that Kent ...

Re: Repairing

The NPC part was never very clear (to me at least), so I wanted to make sure I'm understanding it right: If an NPC repairs the item: No change, but need to wait 24 hours (This is subject to change and probably will degrade weapons at some point in the future we do not want any weapon or armor to be ...

Re: Repairing

With recent changes to forging mechanics I figure I may as well bump this again and see if we can get some information on how repairs work - especially when it comes to NPC repairs - though an update on if anything changed with PC repairs would be nice as well. The description earlier in this thread...

Re: Shadgard blacksmith pricing tweak

I believe the original reason the pricing was so high is because Shadgard specializes in copper and steel/iron items are considered imports, but that does seem like a large gap. Then again, Haiban came way after and it's possible its prices are just low :P Curious to see how this turns out.

Re: Package Labels

Yeah, these wouldn't be the adhesive types but I understand why it came off that way. These would be more like luggage labels that are inserted into a clip-on/tie-on tag, or if the box has a card slot on it you can slide the label in there. For packages it can be a card with a hole in it that you ti...

Re: Package Labels

If that happens to be the case it could just change syntax order "a nails labeled box". It sounds weirder, but could still work.

Package Labels

It would be neat if we could customize the packages we get from the post office with a 2-3 word description that acted as a "label", either at the time of purchase or, alternately, if we could purchase a stack of labels or tags and apply them to packages or other long-term storage containers already...

Hair-worn items and Helms

Having a girl moment here, but would it be possible to make it so hair-worn items can be worn while you're wearing any kind of head armor? I understand why that might be required in real life for things like clips or sticks which would be too big, but things that just tie up in a ponytail should be ...

I didn't miss your suggestion. I even mentioned it in the next paragraph. I'm sorry you missed that since I was actually supporting that you had posted one. What I meant by not having to do with your character is that because you're not the one experiencing or living through the guidelines, they don...

I agree with all of this - especially the parts about me! ;) Seriously though, thanks Zeldryn for taking the time to post this. I don't usually like to post publicly about this kind of stuff, but maybe I should. Kudos are definitely well-deserved. I've absolutely loved interacting with your characte...

Bumping this since it came up in chat. I realize it's low priority, but people do love their pumpkin pie. Any potential fix would be welcome.

I'm going to go ahead and address a few things in this thread as well as offer some suggestions. I want to start by saying I don't mean anyone any offense. I generally really enjoy how many ideas people have been coming up with and the tone things have taken. I also apologize in advance for how long...

Re: Death about to become more dangerous

Bumping this thread to see if this is still the intended direction death is going towards considering yesterday's update (as noted in the devlog) doesn't seem to be indicated in this layout of the planned death mechanic. The old depart penalty has been removed and replaced to be a 10% chance of a pe...

Thanks for posting this! I love seeing the community actively trying to offer suggestions for positive change lately. Re: Trading Post Office

If you're city-averse, you can try the post office at the Tse Gaiyan Chapterhouse area. It uses riln, not trade, but it's not technically a town. And I'm pretty sure it serves anyone, not only guild members. You could probably trade wares with another player for a handful of riln to send mail if you...

Re: Monks under review

I wasn't going to suggest Sunbeam, however, I could say you can rely on flares (the defensive ones), ask for help, or merely focus on healing the templar. As long as you're in position avoid and using tactics dodge, it shouldn't be too difficult to manage. If you are unable to search for the fallen ...

This topic certainly took a turn. I'll start by quoting the initial post which states: Note that the purpose of this thread is specifically about monk play style and potential changes/additions to make them more interesting to play, not to change/complain about the Thaumaturgy guidelines. Those guid...
