Re: Monks under review

The idea behind spirit augmentation duration is to add a constant demand for monks rather than having a one time/short term use. I imagined people getting with a monk every hour or two, or even inviting them to go out hunting with them to keep augmentation running and heal on demand. I feel a long t...

Re: Being able to edit a request and not lose place in queue

Main way answering requests goes, is when I'm actually online and available to work requests, when we do a "gm who", we'll see an "Open Request" next to a player's name if they have a request in, then I view that request, determine if it's something that can be done within the time frame that I plan...

Re: Package Labels

I don't think 3M removable adhesive has been invented in CLOK yet. :-p

I do agree the generic packages are a bit annoying though. I'll see if we can add some customization options to the shops.

Re: Monks under review

Thanks for the recap, Rias. TBH, I got a bit discouraged and haven't really been reading this with all the back and forth lately. I will be carefully considering the items in your recap list, a lot of them sound pretty cool to me and I appreciate everyone's contributions and suggestions on what can ...

Re: A note on housing and workshops, wagons and handcarts

It turns out that the code to prevent wagons from being pulled into certain areas was bugged. This has been fixed. However, it also means that you may have a wagon stuck in some places now. If you find a wagon stuck in your home, please submit a REQUEST to have it moved to the outside of your home. ...

A note on housing and workshops, wagons and handcarts

Please note that housing and workshops are not intended for use of storing wagons or large quantities of work carts. Certain abilities may exist to allow people to move a wagon without a mount. We've previously added code to prevent dragging of wagons into most player houses though there may be one ...

Re: Death about to become more dangerous

Making players thinking twice before taking risks is exactly the goal of this change. Death shouldnt be taken lightly. The current penalty will be evaluated and tweaked further as the new depart alternative is worked on. I'd like to see some sort of staged penalty where it might not be quite as seve...

Re: Suggestion Regarding Stop Command.

There's already a command for that, CLEAR.

I'd rather not have stop also clear the queue, as there are some situations where you may want to stop an action but still have a command queued.

I have un-stickied this topic, as the Mantis bug tracker is not actively being utilized. We have our own internal bug tracking system accessible via in-game commands and a private web link. While I enjoy being transparent to you guys and showing you what we're working on, having to manually copy bug...

Re: Monks under review

This one might be a non starter but could monks get guild and recognition points for charitable donations? People really do like seeing those numbers go up and it would give a little more incentive to gather resources and work on solo projects. It might also make it a bit easier to give up the idea...

Re: Monks under review

For the record, my first character in CLOK was a monk, and it is still probably what I'd consider my "main" character (has the most play time, etc). I do not enjoy playing that character anymore. It has nothing to do with the guidelines though. It has more to do with the way the vast majority of pla...

Odd, they should guard you, defeat the enemy, then continue waiting on healing. Perhaps their AI is getting reset when they begin attacking somehow.

Re: Templar Rescue

The code should look to see if they can identify a monk in the room, if there is one they shouldn't leave. If they can't see you (You're hiding, etc), then I can understand that... No clue about the second time though.
