saddle-bags instead of saddlebags

its hard on this old tiny phone to type long words so can we have saddle-bags instead of saddlebags, please?

or else, could the saddlebags be the topmost or first targetable item so we can type in
REM SAD FROM HORSE and it not target first the saddle and the saddleblanket?

Re: Grum Festival 1218 request

I really miss the travelling wagon we had one time, it was definitely a Grummer wagon, it had a heavy machinist's toolbelt, it had a pair of grease-stained overalls, and it had a heavy wrench, and other things I cannot recall. Could we please have this wagon appear at the Grum Fest, pretty please?

Absent merchant - The Grummer in the clockwork wagon

I remember some two months ago, the Grummer in the clockwork wagon announced on ESP he had a few items for sale in Shadgard to raise some funds for his later appearance at the Festival, at which time he would be back with some more exclusive items.

Is his absence at the Festival an oversight?

Mention my name in Haiban It's the greatest little town in the world Just tell them all you're an old friend of mine And every door in town will have a big welcome sign So mention my name in Haiban And if you ever get in a jam Just mention name, I said mention my name But please don't them where I a...

I can't seem to edit the original post of Sept 2012, perhaps the reason is that the original post was made on the old BBS server before it was migrated here.

The missing image, referenced in my original post and appearing now as only http://shop.chroniclecity.co.uk... etc. is now shown here:

Something inside of me thinks that most NPC's would do their ESPing on their town network crystal color, eg, Amber for Shadgard, etc. Just musing here.

Re: Still scratching my head

My little guy got arrested for petty theft (500 riln) then resisting arrest...I didn't even know I was being arrested before I tried to move...(5,000 riln). So now, because I was trying to figure out if it mattered if there was a visible NPC in the room, has now cost me 5,500 riln and all my posses...

Re: Storage for chained weapons (and other sorts)

[quote="You"]From what I've seen in game, there is storage for hafted weapons (haft frogs), storage for poled weapons (pole harnesses), and storage for daggers and swords (sheaths), which is very convenient. However, it doesn't seem whips and flails have any storage mechanism - could this be fixed? ...

Polishing the Trader's Cart experience

I was wondering if the GM's would consider an overhaul of the Trader's Sales Carts. The reason I bring this up, is that the items for sale in those carts are essentially the 'crown jewels' of Arad; ie. for the most part, the most expensive items available in any store. But the role-playing experienc...

Question about Register command - disadvantage(s)?

After playing for a year, I discovered the Register command, remarkably only last week.

Other than not being able to pawn the registered item, are there any disadvantages or other implications to registering it I may not have realized?

Re: Stinky Body Odor

I have to agree with Stranger here...if you are washed up, it would take more than 15 hours to go from clean to body odor. You can get sweaty quickly, though, but it takes time for bacteria to grow in that sweat. Maybe we can have 'sweaty' effect take place quickly, where body odour is occurring now...

Re: Repair price bug on older crafted items

The cost to repair is based on price. Considering that weapons repair automatically still, it's really not a priority to figure out how we want to change it. Rithiel, two questions: (1) Which price? and (2) Are the gauntlets considered armor, or weapons? Will they auto-repair, or fall apart?

Re: Repair price bug on older crafted items

I think it has to do with the level of craftmanship of the item and the materials used. For instance.. my celestium dagger costs an insane amount to repair. So much that I'll never be able to afford it. No Jaster, I also have both a Masterfully-forged iron greataxe and iron voulge, they cost about ...

I kinda figured Dara would have posted this 'song', but River beat him to the punch.

For those who don't know the reference, just position your character in town outside the General Store and type in 'swim store'.

Roundtime for a nul transfer?

I saw this situation recently
You try to tranfer some of the contents of your birch-planked handcart into a lacquered fir-planked wagon, but couldn't find what you were looking for.
Roundtime: 5 seconds.
I was wondering if you guys'd consider eliminating the roundtime for this.

Concern for newbies getting login error message

There is a bug when logging in, such that if you enter an incorrect password, it does not tell you that you have entered an incorrect password but rather gives you the standard red-and-cyan message instructing you to use the BUG command to report it. Which is a derp because the BUG command will not ...

And my problem with RP emotes, is it is sometimes so cumbersome to try and remember which ones do what and use them quickly in situations instead of going "Crud. I for one have to agree with charging something for healing; the healer has to recoup costs for all those herbs she has to pay for. I was going to suggest that newbies get free infirmicare for their first 20 hours of playtime, but the use of the early 35-point skillgain bonus effect is an even bette...

Would be nice to have, also, more locked doors in the game, in out-of-town combat areas, again with either the attempt at battering them down, or picking the lock. As a sidenote, I don't understand why written emotes have to be in parentheses, unless there's some kind of skill text clone concern that necessitates it. It seems like you should be able to try to smash the lock on a box that is not nailed down, but with a good chance of damaging the weapon as you do it; so in many cases it may be hardly worth while. Metal containers having a high chance of damaging the weapon. This is the paradigm I would go with.

I was just kidding, Kiyaani. I wasn't even meaning to single you out, just the general idea that anyone of us pulling a couple of tomatoes from a vine gets us a 0.08 farming skill that we don't need.

At least the tomato vine doesn't chase us with a rapier.
