Re: new guild choice: The Locksmith's Guild

If you wish to pick locks in game, currently you can only do it via a path of break-and-enter many times. You can get locksmithing up to cap without breaking and entering a single time. I would like to propose that it be possible to role play someone who was trained in locksmithing, and only in tha...

Re: Better name for chain mail foot armor.

Chain foot armor always make me think of something like this:

Which I could absolutely see Kent wearing.

(For VI folks: The picture is of a foot cozily ensconced in what appears to be something like a chainmail sock.)

Re: Deus Ex Magica flintlockina

Why magic guns when you can already throw fireballs, molten boulders, and lightning bolts with your mind? I'm guessing the answer is "for style", which I get. But I don't know if magic blazing guns strikes me as the scholarly Elemancer style. I mean, I'd ask them the same thing: Why are you research...

Yeah, those benefits both sound more like the kind of unintended side effects the devs would want to patch once they realized they were there.

Could work like a poor man's ambush without needing to hide, the first time you use it on a target that you haven't attacked yet.

Description for VI users and people who can't interpret my horrible attempt at drawing: A patch of clear ice beneath which can be seen two tentacles knocking on the ice from below, and a single octopus-like eye. A text balloon reads: "Guys? Hello? A little help here?"

Re: CLOK Wolverine not really tough enough

We could say that wolverines in CLOK have extremely durable skeletons and have three extra-long and sharp claws on each forepaw. To give them that extra toughness we're really after, let's also say they heal extremely quickly.

Re: A fun game: Guess That CLOK Character

the guy on the donkey is kent
Nope. Hint: That's supposed to be a horse, not a donkey. Blame my lack of art skills. Some people thought it was some kind of dog (with a mane and hooves?). Hint 2: There's a reason it looks so small compared to its rider.

Also, it's someone else's turn to draw.

A fun game: Guess That CLOK Character

How to play:
1. Draw a CLOK character
2. Post the image and let people try to guess who it is.

I'll start.

Re: Utasa lockpicks

"Straight" isn't a lockpick quality. When you do that first pick with it and your new straight lockpick turns into a common lockpick, that's the lockpick updating its description to show its quality and discarding the "straight" description which does not denote quality. It's not a downgrade. It's a...

TYPOCORRECT (TCORRECT) command or something

A command that sends an OOC message to all in the same room correcting a typo, so people don't have to broadcast them over chat. Keep it limited to a single word. Usage: TCORRECT <word> Example: You say, "I sure love dinkin." >tcorrect drinkin [OOC-TYPO Bryce: *drinkin] Of course, if you're in a roo...

Re: Horse Combat Conditioning (not training)

Clarification: This should only apply to when the horse is being ridden, so they're less likely to bolt along with their rider or throw their rider to the ground. If the horse is not bearing a rider, then I think they should still flee when attacked, for their own survival.

Horse Combat Conditioning (not training)

I have a horse. I love my horse. My horse is not war-trained. I do not want a war-trained horse. I do, however, think it would be neat to get a "combat conditioning" trait somehow, whether through a special merchant at events or through some other means, to make it so that non-war-trained horses don...
