Re: May we have digging back please

you may be thinking of mining. Digging doesn't cause cave ins as far as I've ever seen. It's used for clearing cave ins.

Re: Water issues in Haiban

in this particular time frame it was not uncommon for people to do exactly that. Wash up in the river I mean. The fact that most people didn't bathe but whenever specifically told to or when it rained was not uncommon as well. Also keep in mind at this point in time it was also not uncommon for peop...

May we have digging back please

So I completely get making logging, mining, fishing, and all that require an ability. I am in no way criticizes that change. I have however encountered several things where simple digging has gotten in the way of progressing an activity I was trying to do. Could digging perhaps be modified so that a...

I'm not going to go into all of my characters but some notable ones are Xavier doesn't have a voice. well he does, but nobody has ever heard it. He gets his point across through sign and hours of RP has been generated because of it. So much so, that we got told off by a church acolyte once. Zarh was...

Re: A newbie critique on traveling, hunger, and cold

another completely legitimate thing you have to take into account when talking about things like this is tasks run and processing requirements for calculations. While admittedly it isn't an extreme amount for this particular thing. It would add up quick with each thing being done for each person on ...

Re: Marriage traditions

I've never really given it much thought honestly but this post has sparked at least one idea. I see the Nuum culture has being completely arranged, but instead of being arbitrary, it is more a collection of suitors for the prized female or male. So let's say the family of some young woman wants to m...

I hadn't thought about this until now, but that does raise a valid point. I have to agree with everything that has been posted. I really can't think of anything to add to it. Very well thought out and expressed, thank you.

I'm fairly confident when I say that at this time painting can only be done to arrows. I had a discussion similar to this about painting furniture a while back.

Utasa lockpicks

I was unsure exactly where to post this, so I decided on the safe option as I remember that some boards are for guild members only, but didn't remember if this was one of them. Please forgive me if I should have just put this on the suggestions board. I've been playing my Utasa a fair bit lately and...

Re: Tasks and guild points

This has always somewhat troubled me as well. I never actually did the math, so thanks for that. I do agree with the sentiment that the reward system for guild tasks should go up, I unfortunately can't think of any suggestions myself to make on how exactly. I can however see the obvious issues of ba...

Glad you are feeling better Jirato. I think I may have lucked out this year in that my doctor insisted I go ahead and get the flu shot since I was at her office for other reasons anyway.

speaking as someone who recently spent so much time standing in a cold area and kept a campfire lit for most of every day. I agree that camp fires are a lot of work to maintain. Re: Reminder: Hiding items is NOT for storage

I have a question, well maybe it could be counted as more than one. Does the tick decriment thing runs if someone is in the room? If the answer to above is yes, then if you leave the room when something has reached zero does that mean you have ten seconds before it disappears? Also , ok yes, multipl...

You say this is the first thing you've created in VipMud. I'm thorughly impressed. I was scripting in it for months before I managed something that complicated. I had been scripting in vipmud for a few years before I started work on the original clok sound pack. If you don't mind as I update the sou...
