Re: Making arrowheads out of softer metals

In the context of consistency between crafting systems your suggestion makes sense, but you framed your initial argument within the context of realism. The metal in the arrow is small and the large part of the force is born by the shaft, not the head, so it would be a totally realistic change I also...

Re: Making arrowheads out of softer metals

What's the purpose? Aesthetics? You're not really saying WHY you want this feature, other than "because I can make other stuff out of it" (paraphrase), which is not a very arguable point considering that there would be no functional difference. I would say the opposite; it's not realistic to have ar...

Re: Monks under review

I thought it was obvious I was speaking in hyperbole and generalizing. My character also is not overly combat focused. The point was that people gravitate towards characters that they subjectively view as more desirable to play, and less people are attracted to the healer class than most others. I f...

Re: Monks under review

The numbers show that people don't want to play monks I think this is the core of the issue, and that this can be extrapolated to many other games of various genres: The majority of players generally have less interest in playing healer characters than other arguably more interesting or subjectivel...

Re: Monks under review

Fun fact: My first character accidentally became a monk. If I logged onto him today, it would be like starting a new character (who happens to already be a monk). You can basically thank him for the existence of Jaster. I don't play him, because I don't like to play healers. I'm a "healer" in real l...

Re: Talking in emotes, without abuse

I always did prefer the simplicity of using hard coded speech and socials, to me that has seemed to flow better as opposed to waiting on someone to type out an elaborate emote. I mean, anyone who has been regaled with The Legend of the Frigid Cuirass knows the power of the spoken word. :D This is wh...

Re: A fun game: Guess That CLOK Character

For the VI members of our community, the latest picture in this thread is a curly-haired roguish looking person wearing dark clothes and a hat with enormous feather plumes. He has a mischievous grin and an open bag with scent lines indicating it's contents are quite foul smelling. He is stealthily ...

Re: Alt conflict?

I would say no, if Dimon is not your alt.

The same used to happen with all of Kiyaani's alts flirting with Jaster. They weren't flirting with each other, so no conflict.

My holster and scabbard is really heavy too, they are weighted with authority. The command I've been using is "get justice".

Do not long sleeve garments and coats already provide warmth for the arms? I always assumed this was the case.

I would say anyone who really needs this would not, even after reading this post, go and re-read Policy 3 (I know I won't). It would be a great idea to post it verbatim and in its entirety in this thread! Of course, maybe you did and I just don't know it. You know, since I didn't go re-read it... Ed...

Re: Sitting in flooded rooms

Not to mention the quagmire of a swamp wouldn't exactly hold a chair. The legs would sink pretty quickly from your body-weight, and you'd definitely have to fight to get your chair back at that point. When I was a kidling, my dad lived close to a swamp and I remember a few times him taking me and my...
