Specialisation Between Armor and Dodging

Post by Kunren » Fri Dec 26, 2014 2:39 pm

I would like if the mercs had the ability to choose a specialization similar to choosing a type of weapon, but between armor and dodge. As one a merc who doesn't use armor at all(a bit of a rarity I would imagine) I have 3 abilities for armor mastery that are useless. I imagine there are other mercs that go without armor, why not add in a few specialistion and/or abilities for dodge? As unofficial masters of non-magic combat I would think that would include unarmored as well, if nowhere near other guilds whose abilities force them to go unarmored.

Sorry If this seems kinda selfish or just specific to me going unarmored, Its really not abut that completely, I would just love to see mercs have more abilities. I don't want them to be stronger at all really, just would be nice to see more variability and number of abilities, even if the current ones would need to be nerfed to do it.

I personally don't want to see every single merc going around in full plate either. However, I'm not so sure that we need much more encouragement than what the current dodge and encumbrance penalties that plate have.

I'll think about it.
[GMCHAT Uyoku]: Octum is when the octumbunny comes around and lays pumpkins everywhere right?
[GMCHAT Rias]: Dimmes says "oh hai :) u need healz? ill get u dont worry thaum lasers pew pew pew lol"
[CHAT - GameMaster Rias would totally nuke Rooks]: Here's how elemancy works: The freeblegreeble and the zippoflasm have to be combined with the correct ration of himbleplimp, then you add the gargenheimer and adjust the froopulon for the pattern you want, apply some tarratarrtarr, yibble the wantaban, and let 'er rip!

As the player of like 42 mercs, yes! Customization is key
